New Radio Show and the enp social enterprise meet-up

Tina Crouse, Strategist
Wow ! Action packed couple of days at the enterprising non-profits social enterprise meet-up.  Had some great, great presentations and I was particularly taken with Octopus Strategies whose outstanding marketing work and excellent crowd management techniques made them a pleasure to listen to and learn from. By accident, I stumbled into a promotional opportunity for the new Social Finance radio show and didn't realize I was there until it was over. While seeming to do everything wrong, the marketing opportunity still came out right; people remember that there will be a social finance radio show starting soon. Objective met.
The new radio show, under the working title, So Fine Canada, will be an information resource and a promotional tool for all things to do with social finance in the country. We 'air' in January 2011 in digital format where people will be able to get it online and have the chance for immediate information search by 'clicking' the real-time website and phone number resources that we'll post during the interviews. The program will be segmented into 4 areas: Investment and Funding Opportunities; Successful Models and Examples; Non-Profits and their Social Enterprise Ideas; Social Entrepreneurs (who may or may not know of the community that exists to help them). Anyone interested in discussing the issues or promoting themselves or their org's ideas is welcome to contact me for a time to chat on the air. So Fine will be Canada's "Hear, See, Click" marketing and informational tool to help Canadians build the sector to live well, do good and make money. This will be about doing
'business' in the way that I always imagined.

Further details will be published in December when we roll out the social media campaign but until then, consider  - What is noteworthy in social finance right now ? Who should be spoken to provide the best information and clearest direction to accomplishing our goals ? What will this all look like when we move out of an under-funded, newly developing sector and assume the 'true' business of the world ?

Exciting right ? Wow was definitely the right word to lead with.
